Fall Freedom Fest

The Rockaway Republican Club is thrilled to be part of the Fall “Freedom” Fest. We invite you to swing by and meet us. You can find our table by the Harbor Light. Stop by to register to vote, consider becoming a new member, explore volunteer opportunities, or simply engage in a friendly conversation. Additionally, be sure to indulge in a hot cup of gourmet coffee from our coffee truck. We’re looking forward to connecting with you!
National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday. The day celebrates American democracy and reminds people to play their part in protecting it.
The Rockaway Republican Club encourages members to plan ahead for elections. Please encourage your friends and family to register to vote and to check their voter status. We remind our members that we all have a part to play in protecting our Republic.
It was first observed in 2012, and more than 5 million voters have registered on the holiday since then. According to U.S. census data from 2020, as many as 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote for reasons like missing registration deadlines or simply not knowing how to register. The holiday tries to change that by spreading awareness of voter registration opportunities in hopes of reaching tens of thousands of voters who may not register otherwise.
